We are critical thinkers and problem solvers.

Learn the tricks of the trade to create what is relevant today.

Welcome to your Strategy Crash Course! The next few weeks are going to be a rollercoaster of learning. You will learn brand new concepts and touch on concepts you may already be experienced in. Regardless, you will finish this course with a well-formed knowledge base around business, project management and the entire design thinking process we use to solve business problems.

The content which you will read through has been created to help answer the questions set out in each of the assignments which you will do. The assignments are what will count toward you achieving your NQF qualification. So make sure to read the content thoroughly, and if you find that there is something you wish was explained more, just give the concept a quick google - it’s always good to learn how to find information on your own.

The first module we will look at involves the business ecosystem. We will look at the micro and macro environment, the business vision and objectives as well as Porter’s value chain. The next module looks at the professional ethics and being a professional in the workplace. Following this we will look at project management and how to plan and manage a project. The remaining content will look at design thinking, where each stage of design thinking will be looked at in isolation.

We are here to learn and grow, so absorb all that you can and remember to enjoy the experience too!
